I haven’t used the string in it yet, but I would highly suggest you run .105 at the very least instead of .095

I have to say, the E20 really outclasses the Yanmar on almost every level. The Yanmar 17 was smooth but lacked a lot of things that the E20 offers

@@Fayettepropertysolutions I haven't ran other 2 ton machines to compare to. But just looking at specs, the e20 is superior to most of those other machines in several ways: Reach, depth, lifting power, curling power, foot pedals, lots of space to quickly and easily mount and dismount, wider track stance, aux controls on joystick, etc etc. The E20 with the long stick and the rhinox coupler and rhinox 2 ft toothed digging bucket will stretch out a full 15 ft at ground level from centerline. I would imagine digging depth is closer to 9 and 1/2 ft.

@@cdmajesty4803 you’re correct about everything you just said! Those are the exact reasons the E20 was a clear choice for me. Also, having the boom swing and the aux controls on the joysticks vs a foot pedal is a huge advantage! Also, the operators station is much much larger than the competition as well! I would have liked a Kubota or Takeuchi but they just didn’t spec out close to the bobcat

I would absolutely agree! We had considered a ton of different options along the way for this job. Between the customers budget and our availability of different materials and services, we chose all of the options that we did. Thanks for your comment!

I’m glad to hear that. I kinda felt like it was a touch underpowered in stock form. I haven’t run it with any string yet either, only a blade. So that may be slightly skewing my experience

They most definitely were / are. We didn’t ever do a lick of maintenance to that thing in the 10 years I worked there. Just grease and fuel

I travel with it on all the time. I don’t go over 55-65 mph with it though, but at those speeds it handles it fine. It’s not recommended by Digger Lid for you to do that, but it can certainly be done. It’s been holding up outstanding to traveling on the trailer and wandering thru the woods around branches and other things that want to reach out and grab you. Not even a scratch on it so far. It’s been so nice to not have a soaked operators station, and be able to drop the “door” when it starts raining to keep yourself from getting wet so you can *hopefully* finish what you need to do without getting soaked

We made the second pass because the depth wasn’t set deep enough to really cut everything out. If you watch at the end of the first pass, there is still some grass left over, along with some irregularities in the final look. This is our very first use of the attachment, so we were still attempting to figure out where it likes/needs to be. Thanks for your comment!

It’s super handy for small jobs and towing it behind our equipment in tight places. Extremely handy

It was aeravated and top dressed. The home owner did his own overseeding application. Customer asked for this service, and that’s what they were provided
